World Vegan Month – Why It’s More Than What You Eat.

Vegan is defined as sustaining from consuming or using any animal derived product or food, meaning that it is a way of life.

In the UK alone, veganism has grown massively since 2016, over 3.5 million people have now converted to living off the land, rather than from the bone. One thing that could be helpful in boosting popularity to its lifestyle, is the credit in which veganism has been shown for having little negative impact on global warming. Many have detailed that Sustainability, and Veganism go hand in hand, making this a more desired lifestyle for those wanting to do their bit for the planet.

Here at Ecozone, Vegan is our middle name and all of our products are certified Vegan as well as Cruelty-Free. With it being World Vegan Month and having World Vegan Day on November 1st, in support of that we have picked out some of our favourite plant-based, and sustainable products in order to help you’ll maintain the vegan lifestyle. Soap Nuts

These versatile little berries, are one of our most popular Vegan products. Not only are they a laundry detergent, but you can boil them in water in order to make products such as all-purpose cleaner or dishwashing liquid, even shampoo. They come from the Sapundis Muleorossi tree, mainly found in India. They are a natural cleaner and filled a natural source of soap in order to clean your clothes effectively. This product is completely plant-based, plastic free and recyclable and a great addition to your household.

Citrus Drain Cleaning Sticks

The power of plants is astounding and these little sticks are evidence to that. They use powerful natural bacteria to break down build-ups that occur in the drain, such as oils, food, fat residues & soap scum, while maintaining the drain with a fresh “citrusy” smell. The pack gives 12 sticks for use once a month, allowing you to stay on top of your drain and for you not to be bogged down by blockages or unpleasant smells.

Compostable Caddy Liners

Now, when it comes to a caddy liner we have thought long and hard about this product, making sure that it meets every need and that it meets our Eco-friendly, Vegan etc. standards. Here at Ecozone our caddy liners are made entirely from plants (vegetable starch), and they are completely compostable and biodegradable! So next time you want to dispose your compostable waste you need not worry about what it’s in, because we have that covered.

Radiance Fabric Conditioner

Radiance Fabric softener, one of our most recent addition to the Ecozone laundry products family. With soft notes of vanilla and violet, this scent will freshen your clothes and provide you with a calming sense of clean. Our Fabric Conditioner unlike others, do not contain tallow. Tallow is an ingredient made from rendered animal fat, and obviously with Veganism and Cruelty-free at the heart of Ecozone, its was our duty to make sure this awful ingredient didn’t make it into our Softeners!
